Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is one of the larger public parks in central Tokyo. It has both an area with classical Japanese garden as well as large open landscape garden.
This is a very good place to watch Cherry blossom in the spring, and the red leaves in the autumn. But it can be crowded.
